I’m sure she could be tested for her age

I'm sure she could but they would want to take a blood test most likely. I don't really want to put her under that stress. If they come to me that is fine but I don't want to have to take her to long distance places.

Well if she lives to 2029 she can have the title since she was obviously alive in 1980 even if age at the time is unknown.

Hopefully, fingers crossed she has many more years left in her! Her partner actually passed away in May. He was the same age as her. They really relied on each other, but she seems to be managing without him. Was a little touch and go at the start, seem as they had been together for 40 years we didnt know if she would go within a few days due to stress or sadness. We will have to wait and see if she makes it!

My old dog died last year at 21. He was the greatest friend to his people and his dog pals. His much younger pal grieved for the longest. I hope your friend breaks the record! Good luck to the two of you.
