A goose's lifespan is 10 - 24 years so she is doing very well. Oldest goose ever recorded was a gander named George. He managed to get to the amazing age of 49 years and 8 months! Emma is 6 or 7 years off the record. Unfortunately, she can't ever be given the title because I have no proof to her exact DOB. ☹

Well if she lives to 2029 she can have the title since she was obviously alive in 1980 even if age at the time is unknown.
