Hi, saw your pic of Dusty on the sites featured content - she's the double of our new 'Needwood Blue Legbar' Lola, we collected from a local breeder last Saturday. No hidden eggs - yet, but we'll certainly remember your comment on "hide and seek" !

Most of the time she lays her eggs in the nest box. Sometimes she lays on the floor among the wood shavings. And sometimes in the enthusiasm of digging around in the bedding, her egg gets buried and I find it in a day or two peeking out among the bedding - or once when I cleaned out all the bedding and carried it out to the compost, lo and behold there was a blue egg in the old bedding!
