That is one gorgeous guy! Looks like a porcelain statuette!

That's so excellent! I wish I could bring my chickens to work! But unfortunately they wont allow pets there. But on occasion when injuries have occurred, such like when a chicken falls ill or gets attacked, or hit by a car and their legs broken, I have let them stay in the car and I've checked on them throughout the day.

Do you mean the size of her eye? Or are you seeing something else?

She has huge dark eyes. As far as I know, that's what most Australian Australorps look like.

My DIL had Australorps and I always thought their eyes were unusual, too. They are more rounded and larger than most of the other breeds I've seen. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I always loved the beautiful green sheen of their feathers. Sadly, all three of them died of Mareks before they were 10 months old.
