Our dear poor Pogo and Jelly have no idea this little yellow squirt should of been theirs.

View attachment 2115563Eggs from our chickens.

Blue ones from our Araucana, Cream ones from our Lavender Orpington, Dark Brown ones from our Copper Marans, and the small one in the middle from our Bantams. Supposed to be Old English, but they look like Nankins.

your eggs all look shiny, do you rinse them?

He didn't care for the mealworms...
And he is turning slightly...well, treating me with not much respect.
He thinks I'm his hen and that he's the boss, will he grow out of that?

What worked for me: pick him up right away and hold him, pet him and literally talk to him (5 min at least). And I saw a video about gently pushing down his neck and chest to the ground and hold for a few seconds. This is what roos did to each other to show who's in charge. You can YouTube about this practice--but it may help you to respond to him as tho your another roo--and in charge vs his hen :)
