Mine are quite a bit lighter, and they don't have speckles either.

My girl is from ideal. She has nice dark eggs with red speckles. She is also very friendly and "talks" to me all the time.

Mine was from Ideal too...her egg is the one circled.
She occasionally lays speckled ones though.

It's been very difficult to get a picture of Mocha's (foster)babies because she's so protective but I got one at dusk last night.

Mocha is a 3yo Mottled Java and the visible baby (there are 6 of them), is a Splash Australorp.
