Thank you so much! Well, you definitely aren't doing too bad yourself, your polish are something else! As for the broody, she's alive, so that's a big plus. But she isn't broody anymore, or at least for now. It happened on day 8 or 9, as I didn't visit the coops yesterday. I'd choose her over the eggs any day though, and I'm sure she'll try again soon

Johosafat is the result of a cross between a golden laced polish and a bearded black. So technically because her lacing isn't acceptable, she would just be a mutt polish. Maybe a golden mutt?!

Ohhhh no. Not with polish.

Need to be separated at 10 weeks, preferably before. They sexually mature faster than most breeds. We typically move or sell cockerels out at 7 or 8 weeks.

Thank you @BastyPutt I will be separate them this week. How old for the hens to be ready to bread?
