These girls are the only chicks by my Champion Welsummer Rooster, Wellington. (RIP) I love them, but wish at least one would have been a boy.

Ho well. They were hatched in January 09. They are going to make great show girls and follow in the claw steps of their mothers. Champion Continental and Champion Large Fowl December 08.

And my Marans, also hatched in January. I have already culled 5 cockerels and will be selling 1 BC cockerel. He is turning out to be breed worthy. The other one has bad feet. I culled the others with bad feet, but didn't get to the last one yet. That will leave me with 4 pullets and 2 cockerels. I can't believe how many boys I had in my hatch. Complete opposite of the Welsummers.

And the entire (very small) flock. I have one blue pullet, one wheaton pullet, and 2 BC pullets.
