I love it! So glad you posted, I had read your description on another post, the "shanty town" that turned into Martha Stewarts yard! We are somewhere in between, with every structural improvement / new piece of roof or foundation / trench work I try and make ours a *bit* nicer just b/c our neighbors are so close to us there's a few I need to keep happy. My son though would definitely pick yours as the winner!

Thanks!! I guess I Could take some of the leftover vinyl siding and make it look better , but what would I do with my
pots and pans and deer antlers? LOL​

I LOVE that chicken house,,don't change a thing! And boy can I relate to the holes in the floor, and the outhouse thing, been there, done that,,,except we could even see through the outside walls,,,cause there werent any inside walls

OK, so my carpentry skills are seriously lacking, but I do love to make little portable summer coops for my girls. They aren't pretty, but they work. Well, last summer a guy pulled up in front of my house and said he was thinking of getting chickens and wanted to ask some questions. I chatted with him, and then he asked about housing. I showed him my winter coop (which is nice - I didn't build it

), and then I showed him one of the smaller summer coops that I had made. He said "Oh - so you don't have to make them anything very good to live in."

Gee - I'm glad I'm not his wife! At least my husband pretends that I have done a good job!
