TJ was the last of the TJ eggs to hatch, and he was upside down in his egg. Cracked me up that he was obviously a cockerel! His three Josies are wonderful layers.

Some markets like Whole Foods sometimes sell fertile brown eggs, but I haven't tried to find those. I know the two TJ stores where I can find the fertile eggs. I just dig in the egg section to find the freshest carton!

thanks...I am a nature photographer of sorts...so I have a pretty good Nikon and ADORE shooting the girls! My hubby thinks I am crazy of course!
