I have from the day I started keeping chicken really wanted to know

How many chickens we each have?
The sizes of your kids?
The types of chickens you have and why these types together.

I had 10 and 5 were recently killed in a raccoon attack so now I have just 5. BO, Black Star, BR, EE, SLW.

I started out with 2 Calif White, lost one at 2 days old, and recently lost one of my Gold Comets...at 25 weeks old...don't know why.

Why I chose the different breeds? I wanted a colorful flock with interesting birds....!

I'll play. I have 13 chicks right now. Started with 5 white leghorns. Gave away 3 roosters. Now I have 1 WL rooster & 1WL pullet, 1 Ancona, 2 chicks of unknown origin, 3 silkies and 5 lavender orpingtons. My goal is to have a colorful egg basket. Eventually I will add EE and either welsummer or maran to round out my color palette.
