Pictures of your Quilts please. UPDATE I FOUND THE PATTERN

Thank you! It was a kit and the hen and chicks are actually felt. I didn't care too much for that aspect of it but I think it turned out good. It was a gift for my SIL and she liked it. Planning on making another for myself....someday!

In September of last year I got the great idea of making our nieces and nephews each a quilt for Christmas. Well, life got in the way and only 3 have been done and delivered so far. Hopefully I will have the other three done and delivered by this Christmas!

For our niece Emmy- just the top so far but it is sandwiched and ready to quilt

This one was going to be for our nephew Tyler but I decided to go with something that will grow with him. Top only:

Very nice work TABBY....I know all the neices and nephews will love them and cherish them. God bless.

P.S. I still have my little sand bag with holders on it.....whenever I see I think of Japan.

Isn’t it amazing what you can do in your first quilting class. Did she/he show you what you were making?

I know a lot of teachers won’t show what it looks like in the end because the class would think, I can’t make that. It is beautiful, well they are all. Thanks for sharing.

So many beautiful works of art here!

I just finished a raggie quilt for my sister. It is made from flannel shirts worn by my grandpa, who passed away a few years ago. I love the look of these, despite the fact that they take an eternity when made from clothing. I made one last year for my parents; one a year is about all I can handle.
