piercings and tattoos for them or against them?

I'm conservative. I have no tatoos and I just have my ears pierced.

Other people can do what they want with their own selves and it doesn't bother me. Tatoos are usually meaningful to the person and some of them are really cool. I still wouldn't have it done myself, but it wouldn't stop me from being friends with someone just because they have piercings or tatoos.

Although, I have to say, I find tongue piercings disturbing. Not the piercing itself, but the way the person constantly plays with it when you're talking to them, like a cow chewing it's cud.

I have 3 tattoos.One is simply my name in cursive on my upper leg.Done with a homemade tat gun more than 20 years ago.Got it when I was 15.My other two I got right after Katrina.One is a Tribully on my lower back,and the other is a portrait of my favorite dog I lost to Katrina.Woman's best friend.I also have piercings. Navel,nose,labret,eyebrow.However the only one i've been wearing lately is my nose ring.My ears aren't pierced...lol...

I think they both look kind of trashy, or like the people are trying to get attention.
I have seen a few pretty tattoos but most of them especially the black ones don't even look good to me. Looks like you drew on yourself with sharpie.

I just can't imagine liking the same picture on myself for my entire life time.

And the fact they do stretch over time, and it's just not attractive to me anytime and especially when your 80.

Needless to say I don't have any of either. I wouldn't mind getting my ears pierced, but thats just another thing to worry about the take care of, and I'm super afraid of needles.

I would like to add that everyone can do what they want with their own bodies and if they like them then thats cool. Some people don't like chickens and I'm okay with that too. lol

I think it's a personal choice and as old grandpa used to say.

"Opinions are like bellybuttons, everyone has them."




(Funny thing is grandpa had surgery in his old age and died without a bellybutton. Ironic)
