Oh no, though I’m glad they’re adopted. I’m sure you’ll be able to find the pigeons of your dreams, now you just have more time to prepare for them.

The pigeons are going to have to wait a long, long time now. My neighbor just gifted me two chicks.
I’m glad I didn’t get the pigeons when I first saw them, because if I got them and then got more chickens a few days later, my family would disown me. XD /hj

I was imaging their reactions as more being:
No brain cell moment
Angry
and
“Get away from me, scary human!”

The pigeons are going to have to wait a long, long time now. My neighbor just gifted me two chicks.
I’m glad I didn’t get the pigeons when I first saw them, because if I got them and then got more chickens a few days later, my family would disown me. XD /hj

I finally got my aviary expansion! It’s a dog kennel off Craigslist that I’m going to have to predator proof a bit, but it’s huge! This thing (plus the old pen) can comfortably fit around 20 pigeons! (For the picture the pigeons were removed since we had to move their old pen back a bit.)

Also, someone (Casper) decided to lay an egg. Her mate is Fan, the fantail mix.

Yeah, it’s a shame she can’t be released, but she’s adapted pretty well to life as a pet.

Neet has went to two pet stores so far and was so well behaved at both!!! He wore a leash and a diaper and simply stayed perched on me or one of my friends the entire time. He didn’t even bite anyone!
