I think they’re cute, and ringneck doves can make great pets. I’m not going to get any, though, because pigeons have a tendency to beat them up.

Actually now that I think about it I think you’re doing the doves a favor by not keeping them because there’s a whole Neet Neet that exists. So yeah keep the doves safe from him kahdkahdjs jk

There’s actually a pair of mourning doves that chill in our backyard sometimes, and now that I know pigeons beat them up it makes sense that they stay away from certain house roofs

Those doves are staying away from pigeon gang territory.
