There are two big windows but it is nighttime.

Finally finished the pigeon loft! I moved their tiny cage in so they’d adjust more comfortably.
Sadly, it’s too cold for babies so it looks like I’ll have to keep their breeding pens closed, even though Buffy started laying months ago.
Have your pigeons laid any eggs or bred? Mine are an inseparable pair.

Pigeons are such dedicated mates, it’s adorable. I have two pairs. Well, one isn’t really a “pair” since it includes two females and one male. The 2nd female, Tofu, chose her already paired mate over the three single males in the aviary. The females used to lay eggs every other month (except for Tofu, oddly), but they haven’t been laying recently. I replace my pigeons’ eggs with fake ones.
