Pigeon Bulletin Board?

Are they going to be charged with cruelty? I know it's legal to kill ferals. I wonder if this couple might have been hired by some hunting club to procure birds .... So sad.:(
Looks like they were charged.

Hire by or just trying to make some money by selling the birds.

This didn't happen close real to me but I looked for my parking lot crews today and didn't see them.

:rolleyes:

@biophiliac :):highfive:
Just wondering how your pigeons are doing... I know you rehomed a few of them to an interested pigeon keeper.:thumbsup Do you know how they are doing???... If any would escape,,,,,, would they find your loft???
How are your ringless youngsters doing??? Have you considered some snap-on bands with your info on them?
Has the hawk situation came under reasonable control? How is the Lumber Yard group doing,, can you see them regularly flying??? Are their numbers still about same? And finally,,,,, did you get any New Stowaways:love???
You haven't posted much lately about your loft:(

:frow My flock is doing well overall and I'll try for an update on them with a pic of the three cute youngsters together when it gets light.
Meanwhile, I know we share a strong interest in the ferals so I'll get to them first...
I do see the Lumberyard Flock flying frequently. They are totally thriving and numbers are way up. I like to 'stir the pot' by letting mine out when I see the LYF. For the second time I saw my flock of 9 approach and then charge right into the LYF of 2-3 dozen birds, slightly disrupting their tight formation. A few seconds later my flock emerged intact and the two flocks were separate again. My brother said he thought one of the LYF came with them. Later that afternoon we saw a beautiful red check(hen :fl:fl:fl ) hanging out with one of my unpaired cocks(Loper's son, ie half feral). I put some seeds on the landing board to attract her. So this is the second time recently that one of my bachelors have brought home a date from the LYF. It's getting to be a (pigeon culture) thing here at Dragon Loft.:)

You wanna be careful. You will end up with the lumber yard flock moving into your loft! :D That would be nice if the red check will stay with lopers son.

Haven't seen her again since.:(
Here are my 3 youngest flock members. Only days away from leaving the safety of their nest boxes. A friend is bringing me some clip on rings... Strange to see them bare legged. Doo's single pied baby hatched a day after the red and blue check nest mates. Their mom Chenoa has been missing for 3 days now. :hit She loved to fly.

I'm surprised. Yesterday she brought a feral mate with her and they engaged in public displays of affection on our expansive roof top. We all thought we heard them above the porch ceiling trying to nest.

Found her in there this morning and decided to leave her in till after feeding to give my cockbird a chance to seduce her. Planning to let them fly later and see what she chooses.
