Pigeon Bulletin Board?

Still hanging around on one of 2 favorite spots, High dead limb or top of historical society museum, both less than 100ft from the nest. He returned to the nest briefly this morning when mom brought breakfast. He/she seems to be watching me as closely as I watch him. Apparently not bothered by the fireworks last night.:DView attachment 1065468 View attachment 1065469 View attachment 1065470

Thanks for more pic's of the youngster and the house also!
I take it that you live in a urban area?

It's a small town not far from the state capitol. There are some open fields for hunting nearby and actually we have two other hawk nests on the same 2 residential blocks - lots of tall trees! It's been fun watching the little guy.:D

That is a very interesting house that the eyas is perched on!
Thanks for the Pic!
Scott
Edit to add that I should have used 'fledgling' not eyas, it has flown.
I noticed that but I didn't want to nit-pick, and besides eyas is a cool word I just learned.
