Pigeon Bulletin Board?

What....Who, me?...Just how did I get involved in naming a fledgling raptor?
I only sit in the corner, and watch & listen trying to learn some more about pigeons.
Scott
Just thought you might have one up your sleeve.

How about Heng [chinese hexagram meaning duration with many connotations, source I Ching]

BTW 'Heng' was harrassed by a trio of small agile swift type birds who knocked her down about ten feet as she was trying to land on the dead limb. She got some air under her wings and fled back to the nest.

Yeah, me too. Care to share something about your pigeons?
PERFECT!
Heng is a great choice!
Congrats girlfriend!
Technically there is supposed to be a little upside down 'v' over the letter 'e', but my keyboard fails me.

Not much to share, I first got interested in pigeons while climbing around Grand-dads hayloft to get squabs for his lunch and tear down the nest's so they didn't crap all over the cow hay. ... fast forward many years to the early '90's...
A friend got my DW into Racing Homers, so I built a small loft for them in the corner of my chicken coop, then I had to build a 8 by 12 addition to the coop because chicken math works on pigeons too. then I had to build a 12 by 12 new loft just for the racing birds, then I had to build a 12 by 12 addition to the racing loft because of chicken math again plus I got some rollers that needed their own separate room/loft space.
Then the DW got out of racing and chickens moved in to 3 of the 4 pigeon loft spaces.
I have about 30 or so birds of mixed roller/tumbler/racing backgrounds.
I have sold some birds more then once because people don't believe me when I tell them that they might return home to me if they let them free fly before the birds know that they have a new home.
Thats about it for my bird story in a nutshell.
Scott
