The first two were hens, my second case of it was a cock bird that died.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Its still a mystery but encouraging to know from you and Ron that it could be temporary and not a fracture. I think I've heard of hens not being able to fly bc of calcium depletion.
if humf flys and returns that will be my whole loft flying!
So I'm not seeing a reason to bandage. It only droops occasionally and she soon gets it back in place. I'm trying to decide if she stays outside or I bring her in....or make a protective cage for her in the loft as I try to reintegrate her. She'd probably get more intensive PT if I bring her in...but then I can't use non-stick cookware and end up with take out.
