She is still here. She looks to be pairing with one of my birds, offspring of Loper and #736 - so he is half feral. The issue will be his desire to nest underneath the loft, a bad spot. He wants her to come out and join him there and she is happy to stay in the loft/aviary.

And yeah, I let a group of the boys out almost daily to give them a chance to search for a mate

That’s how it initially was supposed to be but I can’t do that by myself. If I had the time, patience and supplies and someone who actually knows what they are doing then I could get it done.

Nugget update! He’s been going to the floor where Peach gives him “pigeon lessons”. I always have to put him back up in the ledge in the events though since he can’t fly all the way back up. He’s eating and drinking by himself, and I filled up their bath and he loved it. He’s really turning into an actual pigeon!View attachment 2210214View attachment 2210215

Totally understandable. We can't physically help you but we can give you our best advice. I'm no carpenter either, and the first thing I ever built besides a table in high school was my first Loft. It didn't look too pretty but it definitely wasn't an eyesore and it got the job done. I can't remember exactly what you want to build, but if you're just looking for something small just for nesting boxes and a sheltered inside area that's definitely very doable. Go on google and look at some hutch style lofts if that's what you want

@cavemanrich has always given me excellent loft advice and quickly found simple solutions to building problems I muddled over for days!
