I've never had canker in a squab; therefore, have never checked for it. The first time I generally handle squabs is when I band them.

They are great. There's so many different breeds and colours. Pigeons are so underrated! I used to have quite a few quail. Sadly I only have 2 left. I may breed some more if I can get an aviary next year.Hi!
I wish! But noI’ll be getting my quail hatch in eggs soon, so no pigeons, I love the looks of them though.

My scraper is a 2" one from a hardware store.For those of you that have wood bottom lofts and scrape them out, where you buy your scrapers? I think I'm just going to go with a wood bottomed loft that I scrape out daily.

4-6 days for a permanent band. Anytime really for a clip on type.That’s usually about 4-6 weeks?
