Real one on the left, fake wooden one on the right. It was cold, but not frozen. They must be tending to it. I put a fake one in the bowl, after warming it a bit in my pants pocket.

Does she have a name? Do you think they were waiting to get their own place before starting the family? They are sweet looking birds and I bet they'll be good parents.

Yes. Beau. He was the reluctant flier. He's up there with them all now. A good flier and easiest to handle.

I nearly forgot, it's my BYC birthday today! 1 year old!!
