I don’t think the egg I found this morning was there yesterday, but could have been. I can’t see down into the nest without specifically looking, it sits about chest high to me, so I have to tip toe. Lol

No new egg this morning, but by the time I left home, she was covering the wooden one and I couldn't see if there was a new one or not.

Nearing egg lay or hatch day I'm sliding my hand under there to feel for eggs or babies at least a couple times a day, don't care if I get slapped.

I'm always more worried that I will run her off the nest, or make her mad, or ruin everything! But the few times that I did it with Bonnie/Clyde, it worked out ok, so I hope to be a little more attentive this time.
