So I raised the small nesting boxes I had made off the ground and suddenly everyone was interested. Finally got around to making the stand for my new loft this weekend and new nesting boxes. Got them all setup and the birds seem happy.

Fred, our pigeon that got away and came back, got out today again. My daughter seemed so sad. I was like he'll be back. They are homing pigeons. Sure enough he was back in about 10 minutes. After some coaxing we got him back in the loft. going to need to build a landing board and a trap door soon.

I took a couple videos of Olive and I's progress bonding. She already will step up and fly to my hand when I call her, and she really enjoys petting when the mood strikes her.

Oh wow! I'm so jealous! I wish my pigeons would come to me like that. Eating out my hand would be a start!

I'm getting impatient about the results on my pigeon, lol. I hope they come back by Tuesday. I think if he is a cock, I will name him Sterling. Still have to come up with a name for the bronze kite.

I have a pair of homing pigeons, a pair of rollors, a helmet pigeon, and a nun pigeon I'm selling all six of them.Do you think they are worth sixty dollars? I really hope that person buys them .
