We got egg number 2 yesterday. Expected to hatch around the 21st. I'm going to candle them next week to see how they are developing. The ducks have also been going at it. I might let them keep some eggs if someone gets broody (ok, no more duck talk).

I just went through and watched most of your videos, I like your loft a lot and hope to remodel mine into something similar at some point. Best of luck with the eggs!

mostly because I don’t want her to step on them. She doesn’t hurt me. Rocky actually tried to bite me. Trip just wing smacks.

I don't worry about lifting the hen to take a look but I am careful about setting her back down so they dont get stepped on.

I got a peek at the babies. Both alive and well, so far.

So.. I am selling all of my birds. I cant manage them on my own in winter and its become a hassle getting help. Im not sure if I can set something up close enough to the dome that I can manage for a couple of pigeons. Its not looking promising. Im ok with it, it cant be helped. Anyway, I have enjoyed learning from all of you and making some wonderful new friends. Thank you all for letting me tag along on your journeys...
