interesting. What are the parents tails like?

I'm gonna probably get some oyster shell, due to my white homer having laid an egg with a rubber shell. But was wondering, how much does that stuff run? My occasional feedings of eggshells May not be cutting it.
Mine are eating a lot of oyster shell recently...and laying many eggs too. lol It's not that expensive.

I can’t remember how much it costs, it lasts a long time when I buy it. I also pour a little chicken layer feed in sometimes. They seem to like it.

I got a 5 lb bag for about 6 dollars the other day. I'm sure if you went bigger it'd be even cheaper but I only have one hen at the moment and if its anything like grit I don't expect them to blow through it fast. I also have been giving the hen a small portion (probably a spoonful) of layer pellets occasionally.

Someone attacked Chance today. I found him on the ground in a corner when I came home. I’m going to try checking the camera playback but where he was is out of the picture, I think. But it might give me a clue.
I put a little neosporin on it and tube fed him some, since his crop was empty. But he seems to be ok for now. :(
