Pigeon Talk

Well it's around 35°F and going to rain or snow. The parents were not sitting on 41 and 42 when I checked. They hadn't yet been fed although its early still. I brought them in where its warmer and they still weigh 210gr and 190gr, same as when I weighed them yesterday around midday. I fed them some peas and am trying to decide if I keep them in and for how long...

You may consider taking them in for the night. I know the next few days are predicted to be cold/rainy/ with possibility of some :idunnosnow. That is for my area. You are further north so chances for snow/colder are very much a possibility. They are still not very feathered out.
Them being back in loft during the day is a good choice, so mom n pop can feed them.
When I had lil ones early in the year, and it was cold, I placed a heatlamp under the area where nest bowl was . The warmth made the floor of the loft somewhat warmer. I did with what I had. If I had an Electric Adjustable Heating Pad, I would have used it instead.
My heatlamp was outside of the loft enclosure , but loft was inside garage. It did not shine light into loft.

:highfive: I'm glad you agree! This is my best option. I do not have any electric at the loft. Loper was on a perch yesterday eve until I spooked her off - then she did go sit with the squeakers. I think she is about done with the brooding but I still expect them to keep feeding. :fl
