Howdy! Congrats on the new job!!
I’m new at this too, but with my first pair’s squeaker, I was able to handle it a little while it was still in the nest, but it never got used to me, and now I can’t touch it. The young pair now is the pair that I brought inside and fed for a week when it got so cold, and momma had stopped covering them at night. They accept accept and trust me now. They are separated from the group because of being picked on, and get so excited when I come to the cage. I’m understanding why that one YouTube guy brings them inside at 2 weeks old.
I just hope they will be accepted back into the flock when the time comes.
