Pigeon Talk

I agree with you on the GLOBALISATION... It brought these to near Extinction. I think I'm one with the last few left.:idunno

And most likely was told,,,,, "Hey buddy,,,,, you have to pay for that or beat it" :old

Keep placing seeds on top of your aviary/loft for that pidgie:love
He is almost homeset to your loft. :wee
Pigeons learn quickly where the free groceries are:old
Wow! You have a pterodactyl? That's so cool! I just lost mine last year. :hithe flew out of the house and was gone for good. :(

:gig

New loft looks like its coming along nicely :)
Anyone ever have a wild dove try to insert itself into your flock? I believe this male dove's mate died around two weeks ago and since then he's been spending pretty much all day every day on the roof cooing at my birds, landing on their aviary and peeking inside, and following my single non-breeding bird when I let him out. I'll have to take another picture next time it lands on the loft

I have a family of morning doves that regularly come to my yard, as well as a new woodpecker family, and cardinal family. :)

Duff/Breezy’s smaller baby died this morning. I forgot to check it last night and didn’t tube feed. Tried this morning, but it was already cold and weak, I brought it inside and fed it, but it died a short while later. I had named that one Galaxy, but I think I’ll change the one that is alive to Galaxy and lose Garbo. Didn’t like that name as well.

Eclipse and Egan (Trip/Rocky offspring) are doing great, Trip has already laid 2 more eggs. Bonnie/Clyde’s little Fritz is also doing great, 3 weeks old. And Bugsy’s tiny one (still unnamed) is growing really well too! I think it may make it!

Sorry about the little one. It sounds like you have a production line going on with the pigeons! How many do you have now?
