Pigeon Talk

You sure are her person!! She seems so bonded to you! Again....she's such a cutie!!

She is my buddy! One of the most rewarding pets I have ever had the pleasure to have in my life, and really she has become more of a family member than a pet because the way she acts is just so personable. I talk to her... she listens. Probably judges me as being a bit loopy, but she doesn't say anything! When nobody is around sometimes I sing her little songs... Her nickname his Princess Fluffypants.

We mostly have an open cage policy these days, she likes her cage and goes home often to rest throughout the day and to roost at night but it's only shut at night and when we cook - she LOVES to be in the kitchen and especially if you are washing dishes because she thinks it's bath time. She knows the sound of the sink and will come flying full speed and land on the counter wanting her bath.

Even when I go out, I leave the cage open now. She doesn't really poop anywhere but in her cage and she knows her way around the house so well I trust her at this point (I just shut the toilet seat). The cat is indifferent to her and all birds and sleeps all day in one of the bedrooms, when they do meet they ignore each other, often passing in the hallway. She entertains herself well, and is always up to something. She loves attention, but if I am busy she'll just walk off into another room and come back later to see if I'm done. Or sometimes I'll go look for her and find her strutting on top of the refrigerator, looking out the kitchen window at the neighbors or sleeping on the bathroom shower curtain. I couldn't find her the other day and looked all over for about fifteen minutes only to have her just come walking out from under my bed. What was she doing there? I don't know! Maybe it was a good place to nap.

That is one thing that my cats ARE NOT. They get along with the chickens,,,,,,, including the Seramas, (note the Avatar) But pigeons always were something they showed different interest in. My last 3 pigeons were killed by one of my cats:hit:hit:hit
Of course still have that cat. She did not do it out of malice,,,,, just her nature.:idunno:old:hit

The archangels are venturing out into the trap now.

I don't find them ever so flighty. Not so much as the racers.

I just managed to get a short clip of Ash flipping. Does anyone think she is a roller? I'm thinking she is now.
That was so quick I'm only half sure I saw it!

Arael is feeding Sophiel. Is this a sign that love is in the air?!!
Yes!:yesss: Are your temps moderate enough to breed successfully this time of year?:fl

England being England its mostly wet at the moment. Its getting colder but the cold weather doesn't normally kick in till January / February time. So if they do have eggs I'll let them sit and by the time it gets real cold they should be good.
