Not sure.. tossin around different ideas at the moment..Anyway back to our feathered friends! Have you had anymore ideas for the type of loft you want or are you still going with converting the pheasant pen?
Wait a minute. . Lisa. . your getting rid of your pheasants?![]()

Have all your pigeons got names? Most of mine have but I've started referring to them by the last two ring numbers.I changed a Ruth to Ruthless when he crowed.![]()
Only some of them. The eight original birds and 5 of the YBs. The rest I think of by their #s. Two of the ybs were born with the traits that named them: Flathead and Blackfoot.Have all your pigeons got names? Most of mine have but I've started referring to them by the last two ring numbers.
One thing I'd say now about loft design is knowing what you want to do with them. I bought and rebuild my loft as something quick and temporary but it turned a little more permanent. Next year I need to have a radical overhaul of it. For racing I need different areas or sections to keep certain birds apart to use there instincts to get them to return fast. The way I want to do it is by pairing two females to one male! The loft I have now is perfect for just loft flying or rollers and fancy pigeons but not great for racing. It would be perfect for Archangels! Not sure.. tossin around different ideas at the moment..
Yeah, well, if the guy decides he wants them. Havent heard back tho.
