Pigeon Talk

Instead of shut the front door, I sometimes say "call that pigeon back" lol.
I like that!:highfive:
It may be made up...
Makes sense though, if you leave your loft door open you will have to call the escapees back.:D

"All the singing, all the dancing" can't you just visualize the happy pigeons cooing and strutting next door!:gig

All my pigeons are belgian racers. Boomer was a stray. She is the one I started with. Then I bought 5 adults from a guy who was finishing. I lost one early on from that five. I had two pairs that I bred eight youngsters from. One of those adults didn't return. Then I had two ferals one with a broken wing and a youngster that had hurt itself in the stables. That one ended up not returning after a loft flight and the one with the broken wing currently lives in a rabbit hutch whilst I figure what to do with her. There is a bit of history between my neighbour and me but I am a member of the RPRA so I can join another club if I want. I just wanted to get a full loft the returning first so next year hopefully thing will gather pace! 13 birds isn't many so I need a bigger loft and increase my numbers!

This is a thread I started when I first found boomerUK pigeon owners

I just read (or re-read?) the first several pages of your thread. Still amazed at how Boomer adopted you. Such a heartwarming story.

A nice video..
this one especially for @FieldsMountainfarm
for her daily pigeon watching fix! Until spring and you have your own.

:love I really like those whites. The beginning of the video is how mine looks now.
(I really need to cull some extra chicken rooster to free up some space)
