I’m hoping so. I hate not letting them sit when they want to. But it’s going to get colder for the next couple of months, so I’d rather she waits a while.

I have Doba in the big aviary with just a few of the docile birds and today for the first time I am seeing a little improvement. She is trying to fly and is doing the tip toe fast flap exercise. I gave her pure oyster shell for grit the past few weeks and forced her to move around a few times a day... I'm going to see if she will bathe tomorrow, I'm pretty sure she has the wing mobility now.
...later I let Doba into the loft and she managed to get to one of the lower perches so I may let her stay the night, although she'll have to go back to her cage when I can't watch her tomorrow.

Yes, I checked again and believe she will be safe overnight.
