If the owner's never found, you might try a post in your state thread for rehoming him..

I got ahold of the guy at NPA! His band had NPA WFC
That stands for western fantail club. He gave me a contact nimber but it is disconnected. I found the group on FB.
I asked to join. It is a closed group. He said they don’t really fly so he prob lives close , just like you all said.

Awesome that they got back to you. You may just find a pigeon person right in your neighborhood!

I seriously wanted (still want?) fantails, and had some lined up, but when I went to buy them, and saw them in person..... Nope! Not the bird for me! Some stand a little more erect like your natural image of a pigeon (I do like those!) but the "high dollar" show-quality ones have that serious chest-out/head-back thing going on... just looks so unnatural to me. I'd rather have some of the ones that are less extreme.

That's great news! I agree with cavemanrich I'd feel happy to release them again. I found that if I released one, it wouldn't hang around. Since I can release all mine they tend to stay and fly loops of the neighbourhood. Your making good progress! Have you done any more vids?

Haven't done any new vids. We got a ton of rain and then began working on a new loft. I should start recording again. Maybe we will this week.
