Well, I managed to connect via Facebook with possibly the biggest breeder of frillbacks in the country. And he says my birds are all cocks. Yay.

I mean I guess at least I know I really can accurately sight-sex them, lol. So that's a plus? Just sucks that I'm going to have to pay shipping, again, and spend money on more birds, again.

Well at least you know now. Are you going to contact the person you bought these from? The could/should give you a deal. Two hens for the price of one sort of thing. Or pay for shipping?

I might. I just feel awkward about it, although I really shouldn't, since they're the one that made a mistake. Well, I hope it was a mistake and they didn't stick me with a bunch of extra males they had on purpose...

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any local pigeon people. There are a couple guys that occasionally show up to chicken swaps around here with them, but they just have tumblers. Once someone had fantails, but that's it.

Hmm. Ya that would be kinda ackward. It's up to you. But I would tell them that you have bought 2 that were supposed to be female from them and ask for a free female. You cover shipping? I don't know tho.
