I was looking at the auction... South German shields, are amazing looking. I have no idea if they are show or performance. Or both. But they are almost as pretty as @Pyxis NNs!

Sorry for the triple post. But I just went and checked on my birds, and one of my hens was in the ground, with her wings lower than tail, and looked like she had just recently laid an egg. I checked her nest, and there's no egg, so I picked her up (she didn't\can't fly) and I felt an obvious bump the size of an egg. She seems in slight pain. This is her first time laying an egg. Is she egg bound? Is there something I should do? I first noticed her on the ground last evening, but I just assumed she was gonna try to find a few leftover seeds.

That’s what we do with chickens and ducks. I suppose it would benefit pigeons too.

Do I recall hearing that giving a Tums tablet for extra calcium helps too?? Maybe a quarter tab for a pigeon?

I use the calcium inj for cattle.
