I did put a nest in there and we'll see if they take care of the egg. If not, I'll go ahead and try hatching it myself. Perks of being a veterinary nurse, I can take a baby to work with me and feed it if I need to

They're in my garage, so no worries about the egg freezing.
No pictures of the new ones yet, but here are my frillbacks:
The hen in is front. Grumpy face in the back there is the cock. Also pictured is the empty nest bowl, which is now slightly less empty after they added some hay, lol.
