yay! Congrats!Woo, the tumblers have an egg! They are actually both on the nest with it right now, lol. Hopefully she lays a second egg this time, too.
love the names. You may need to hand feed to catch the other one up with its hatch mate. SO, they are tumblers, but do they still tumble? Or has that been bred out of them?If she does lay a second egg, they'll be hatching a bit staggered, since they're already sitting, lol. The hen has decided to actually take her break and now the male is holding down the fort.

I think I'm going to name the male Cyril and the female Clara. About time they got some names, lol.
I hope he/she makes it!@Pyxis hope you see some eggs soon. My Duff has been seen in the box a few times lately too. I still don’t know who laid the lone egg on the ground. Never saw another after it.
Trip/Rocky’s two young ones are doing ok... well one is doing great. The other isn’t getting fed much, but I’ve been checking it each night and if it’s crop isn’t full, I bring it inside and tube it. I hope it survives.
I think I’m taking a lazy day today to observe my birds. Have lots of young ones I’d like to identify genders. Ducks and chickens included. Lol

You should bring the youngins, (if they are old enough) to the Louisville pigeon show! I didn't see any last time there, so you may win!![]()
very smart! You do not want to lose any of those rare beautiful birds.I'm pretty sure they still tumble, though of course I have not flown mine to test that out, lol. Won't be doing any flying until I have beefed up flock numbers quite a bit, just in case.
They better not disappoint me again! If she does lay a second egg, they'll be hatching a bit staggered, since they're already sitting, lol. The hen has decided to actually take her break and now the male is holding down the fort.
