One of mine was playing with the Bob wires. He didn't actually get out but I think he would of if I left him to it! I think the only way to stop them doing this is to have a drop on the inside of the loft so they can't stand next to it.Well the head honcho of my loft figured out how to open the trap from the inside and get out. He did it yesterday and I thought it was a fluke but I just tested it and he did it flawlessly three times in a row. Any way to curb this issue other than a total trap redesign?
If that's the case I'll just deal with it for now because I'm going to be making them a large aviary hopefully by
the end of the month and probably redoing some parts of their housing anyway.

Awww! The photos came out bad but they're sharing some safflower seeds together on the front porch (just before i run the vacuum cleaner.)

They look like they are meant to be together! It's great to see her wing doesn't appear to be as bad as first thought. Has she tried flying at all?The photos came out bad but they're sharing some safflower seeds together on the front porch (just before i run the vacuum cleaner.)

Sounds perfect. I use a similar mix for parents feeding babies. She is on a high calorie mix now. Half safflower, a quarter peanuts and just a sprinkling of peas and smaller grains.
