Great to see you again, especially when you agree with me!agree on the intervention.. I leave my birds be way more than I used to do. It seems they all do better when I stay out of their way.. Its hard sometimes tho..

Ive been so busy the past 2 wks. Mom had to have surgery on her foot a few wks ago and isnt allowed to put any weight on it yet so needs help with getting up and down and such. Ive been going down to sit with her when dad needs to run errands and whatnot. Hopefully things will slow down here soon..
Well the head honcho of my loft figured out how to open the trap from the inside and get out. He did it yesterday and I thought it was a fluke but I just tested it and he did it flawlessly three times in a row. Any way to curb this issue other than a total trap redesign?
If that's the case I'll just deal with it for now because I'm going to be making them a large aviary hopefully by
the end of the month and probably redoing some parts of their housing anyway.

One of mine was playing with the Bob wires. He didn't actually get out but I think he would of if I left him to it! I think the only way to stop them doing this is to have a drop on the inside of the loft so they can't stand next to it.

Hah! I love that video.
mine has a 3 ft drop to the ground. They are fine with it. So no ledges to walk on. It's working good so far!
The photos came out bad but they're sharing some safflower seeds together on the front porch (just before i run the vacuum cleaner.)

Safflower a great choice to put weight on Rosie.
She is on a high calorie mix now. Half safflower, a quarter peanuts and just a sprinkling of peas and smaller grains.
They look like they are meant to be together! It's great to see her wing doesn't appear to be as bad as first thought. Has she tried flying at all?
Sounds perfect. I use a similar mix for parents feeding babies.
