I seems that the so called 'breeder' that I ordered the arcs from doesn't have any. In fact he never had any and was trying to flip some birds on me. I phoned the courier he said he was going to use and he filled me in on his tactics. Long story short he is a dealer. I have been refunded and I have spoke to the NPA and got some contacts for REPUTABLE breeders. I had today off work in anticipation for there arrival, since nothing was ever going to arrive I have managed to finish the loft! All apart from the nest box fronts. I'm going to move the others over this weekend. I'm impressed with the trap and hatch. It works really well. I just hope the pigeons use it!

Are there shows for pigeons around you? If so, I would go to one, and look for some archangels... That way you can looks at, and handle the exact birds your getting.

Yeah. I'm pretty angry about it but I'm glad I got my money back. I didn't kick up a fuss with him about it as the courier said if I did I probably wouldn't have heard from him again. The contact I have from the NPA is a guy who I've heard of and seen his birds. He is an honest reputable breeder.

I did a toss today. Only a mile or so as the pigeon flys... But all showed up within a minute or two! I tossed 6 birds.

the other night, I went to the feral pigeon shop. (Its funny, it's only open at night...) and I got another youngin on the ground. I'll post a pic soon.

I've only just finished doing one, nevermind making another! It would be a good start for one though.

At work. I think it's the yard owners. He had a habit of acquiring all manner of 'stuff'!

The loft is about finished now. I still have a bit of stapling to do on one side, door springs, bobwires trap door and I started with the fronts for the nest boxes. I've opted for wood and dowls rather than mesh. More work but it will look cracking! I got one done only 11 more to do.

I don't know if it's just the picture or what... but those look like some beefy dowels. You must have some strong birds over there in the UK
