Pigeon Talk

Hey guys
I got a female pigeon and as I put her with my other pigeons she get a male and they were mating all the time but did lay until after two months but they break the egg.
so my question here is will they now lay like normal pigeons do or will they still take about 2months to lay?

I know you live in a hot climate, so egg laying may be associated to temperatures.
Maybe when cooler season is around, the egg laying will normalize.
Is your pigeon young??
My 2 suggestions to prevent eggs from breaking.
Feed your pigeons a source of calcium into their diet. That may be simply adding crushed chicken egg shells into their feed. This would make stronger shells.
Provide an appropriate nesting area, and bedding material. This way they sit on eggs in comfort, and do not break eggs stepping on them.

If he's not eating, it would probably be a good idea to feed him some peas. Something which is easy to digest would be good... something like chicken pellets which is already ground up would probably be ideal
thankyou for the help and replies. I believe it is pmv due to neck wrenching. Should I still force feed him? And my next question is how did he get this?!?!

The link above will give you some facts on pmv. There is no treatment for this virus so supportive care is all you can do. That would include hand feeding or forcing him to swallow the peas as recommended above so he has some nutrition and hydration while his immune system fights the virus. If you know how to do tube feeding that's another option.
It is contagious so watch your other birds for signs/symptoms.
Birds can have it with almost no symptoms or it can kill them - kinda like the Covid 19 for us.
