We have purchased some Pilgrim eggs this year that are starting to hatch.... BUT...... We got our first hatch from our own birds today. A girl. Guess first season mating can be successful.

I shipped eggs to a friend from my first season pair. She hatched 2 a couple days ago.

Absolutely. Every egg was fertile & at least started this year.

Now if we could just teach ours to nest separately. I have already mentioned one male got left out in the cold when the others formed a trio. Now the girls are so attached, they nest together in the same dog house...lol

If you want pairs, pen them in pairs. Otherwise, they are gonna do what they want.
