Hello! So I’m a first time Hatcher and have three ducklings and one (adorable) gosling, he’s the favorite lol.
I have a newly pipped egg (just from this morning) which I got a little bit of water on when I was upping the humidity through the sponge hole (something i learned from this site) during lockdown. Is this going to be an issue?
also the membrane looks a little yellowish but my drake looked that way too and hatched just fine. His sister, however, needed assistance, she is now a very happy, healthy and energetic, week old duckling. She was extremely shrink-wrapped and I only helped her after 48 hours which I know it a long time but I didn’t want to help her too soon. I could see her beak and knew she could breathe/ was still absorbing her yolk but can’t with this one.
PLEASE ADVISE! This site has helped me so much, thank you!
