Pipped egg..Not moving for awhile..

I have a pipping egg and it pipped twice 2 or 3 hours ago. Not moving for awhile now(2-3 hours) and i was wondering if i can do anything to hatch it. (add water posibbly?.. Its a bantam egg..)

it can take as long as...for chickens...24 hours to get out of the egg AFTER pipping. Patience, patience,young grasshopper, and soon you will have chickens!

It can take over 24 hours for an egg to hatch.... just leave it alone.

id just let it be. it will hatch. it takes time.. we have some that were pipped yesterday morning and they are hatching right now!! nothing to worry about!

one of mine that hatched yesterday it was the first to pip last to hatch it was pipped for about 24 hours

yep, they can take a long time to come out...with the pip in it, they are getting air so it just takes time
