Pipping at wrong end and dry membrane!

I noticed Newt has had some wet poo on the fluff under his vent place and its been about 2 days now, I've tried to clean it off but it doesn't seem to go.
His butt is usually wet most of the time since he walks all in his water. I've checked his vent and he doesn't have pasty butt but is the wet poo on the fluff okay?
To stop the playing in the water dish if you take a plastic container ( I use small butter one to start then work my way to a bigger one until about 3 weeks then I let them have the regular way
Cut a hole big enough for their heads so they can dunk to clear the eyes and nose but not get wet
This also helps to keep the brooder more dry
Mine are just 3 weeks now and I use a bigger bowl but set it in a littler box and the splashes go in there instead of the shavings
I also use shavings after week 2 but puppy pads the first 2 weeks so they don’t eat the shavings so young
Once I put out shavings I also provide grit
They need grit to digest anything they eat that is not the feed pellets
This includes grass , weeds , fruit , veggies anything you give them
I leave a grit in their pen and outside so they have access 24/7 to it
I find they absorb the poo much better and so easy to just clean the poo
I clean my brooder several times a day when they are in it 24/7. Now that they are outside all day I do it once a day
This keeps it dry for them

You can also start baths
I started mine at day 3
They would be diving under water already. I give them deep enough to lift their legs and swim but able to put they feet down to stand
5-10 mins in warm water. Then dry with paper towel. This absorbs Most of the water but still allows them to preen and start using the oil gland
It also helps to keep them clean
If he is having runny poo it could be drinking a lot of water as instinct is to be in water
Keeping the pen dry and allowing bath time helps to reduce them being wet to much.
How the other egg doing ?

Oh alright! Since hes turned 4 days old today, I'll start bath time today.
I candled the other egg yesterday and I saw the beak moving around and opening so I think it's good. It'll be hatching in a few more days.

You’re very welcome
Keep us updated on the next egg
Hey! Since no one seems to be responding and I'm quite worried, do you think you could help?
I've read tons and tons of articles but when it comes to this I'm absolutely worried I'm doing the wrong thing.

The egg has internally pipped since day 27 and its currently day 29. Its still wiggling around and moving around, it seems to have most of its body in the air cell(?) but I can't hear any peeping. Not really worried about hearing no peeping since with Newt I didn't hear any and he was fine.
I'm really nervous to make a safety hole in case it's too early or I should let the duckling do what it needs to do.
What do you think I should do?

Hello! I would do a safety hole, since it's been two days.

How do you know it has internally pipped? Can you see the beak in the air cell? Can you hear tapping? Chirps?
If it has definitely been internally pipped for two days, it would br a good idea to make a safety hole. It wont hurt the duckling as long as you are slow, gentle and dont make the hole too big. Just like a pin hole.
I'd use a clean screw and just gently, slowly twist the tip against the shell. Candle first to ensure baby is not in the way. You wont need to apply pressure, just twist the screw carefully with your fingers until you make a tiny hole in the shell.

Yes we can see the beak in the air cell.
We'll be making a safety hole now.
