Pit Bull Puppy (GETTING BETTER)

Quote:
not neccasarly true. I have a lab/ staffy mix myself. She gets along great with other dogs and as long as she is chained up I also leave her alone with my ducks and chicken. She is however super prodective over us and our property. She wont bite people she will bark her brains out and backs up and away from them. But nobod gets in our yard abyway, around here the would be burglars are more afraid of our evil attack ducks than a pit.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I started reading this thread till I got to the photo! I jumped right ahead to post. LOVE the puppy!

I have a blonde red nose as well. She is now 7

Ok, I'm calmer now, I will go back and finish reading.

Brutus is VERY HANDSOME!!!!!! Maybe for ins. reasons

You could call him a rodesian (sp) ridgeback, yellow lab mix

I think it would be better to let people know that he is a "pitbull" so more people will realize that they are not violent by nature.

That does not matter when the homeowners ins is cancelled and the home is not insured.
I have a friend who got a German Shepherd and one day they got a cancellation notice for the homeowners ins. They have a list of high risk breeds and they dont care about the popularity contest, they just cancel you.
The ins. company doesn't hate pit bulls....... they just try to avoid breeds that have cost them money already.

Thank Yall for the compliments and the advice. I am not sure this is a pure bred dog. What do yall think?
He is showing INCREDIBLE smarts. I got onto him twice when I took the tractor outside the front gate to do some work in the ditch. He now will go to the front gate and bark at the dogs across the street but he will not go out that gate. I am sure he will test me but at least he knows not to go out da gate. I've already broke him from going out of jumping on me and going into the garage. Dosnt he look like a mix to yall? There is no way he is 3 or 4 months old. The vet appointment is for Wednsday. We have been using that vet for 15 years (my parents actually)

He looks pure bred to me. The only way you will really know is if you had him DNA tested.
He is very beautiful!! Treat him with love and respect and he will be a great family addition!!
