.It was so cute with the little round toe's and we would hold it or put it in swing with us when it came down.Frog's are AWESOME:lol:....DG

I'm sorry dieselgrl, I was just kidding about shipping them. I would have no idea how to keep them alive in transit. I just have so many I dream of exporting most of them so I could have some peace and quiet. I like frogs and most other reptiles too, but the noise of so many of them is truly annoying. I hope one or two bless you with their presence. And I hope they're both males.

I planted my tomatoes and peppers indoors a month ago. I've made youtube videos of the whole process. My house is like a greenhouse now, but the smell of fresh tomato plants is intoxicating.

Minnesota planting date is May 31, so my plants will be HUGE by the time I plant them in my garden. It's going to be an amazing garden with godzilla tomato plants with no caging needed and pepper plants that are full grown and strong as heck. I'm going for 12 foot tall Sunflowers this year. Last year's were 11 feet. I think the chicken manure compost and compost tea is the magic ingredient. Thank you to all my pooping

birds! lol

I'm in central IL, Zone 5. I just potted up 30 tomato plants last night too.

I also started a community garden at my son's school hopefully we'll be planting there this upcoming weekend.

I replaced two of my blueberry bushes that didn't make it through the winter.

I have given up on growing Gardenias. I have planted at least one bush a year for 3 years in a row.
They never make it more than one season with me

So this year, I replaced them with Jasmine plants. I grew these great in South Florida.
I'll see how they do in North Florida ! ! !

I'm trying asparagus for the first time! I have a bed prepared and the root stock arrived today! I was only able to plant about half the bed - I have to wait to do the rest this weekend after the sprinkler guys come moves a few heads to accomodate the raised bed I put in. an't wait to see if I am able to get it to grow!

so far i have planted lots of daffodils, tulips and muscari bulbs (um i didn't get them all in before ground froze for winter, lol). i had bought them end of season but they r up with leaves already so should just bloom late my yard always blooms late due to the hardwoods anyway. i planted i think 6 new rose bushes, hubby got me purple tulips and a weeping pussy willow tree for easter got them in to. got pink tulips yesterday i planted but still have to plant the yellow and red ones yet i got also. i just potted up a hosta shadows i got but is little so needs to be inside till a little bigger. planted flower seeds in a flat for the kids to plant when the plants r bigger. i got daffodils blooming everywhere but not all near bloomed yet boy do they look so bright and pretty out next to my yellow forsythia that bloomed.

I wonder why this is, Mathace? I have been gardening for over 30 years in Jax. and I'm very experienced.
For some reason I can't get Gardenias to survive either. Do you think it's our climate, or a water issue?
I make the soil acid and fertilize them with Gardenia/azalea fertilizer... What do you think it is?
