Planting Vines for shade

Just had to say I got my malabar seeds and they're in pots.

I can't wait to see how they look.

Does anyone know any fast growing vine plants that do well in mostly shade?

That climb well as well.

I do NOT know if ornamental ivy is toxic to the chickens, make sure to check.

Thank you Kim I'll be sure to ckeck. I actually have some Ivy like that in my house right now (as a house plant) maybe I'll move a little of it out side.

Black-eyed Susan vine is also pretty.

Yikes! Not sure if ignorance is bliss but last year (First with chickens) I had morning glories planted by the run. They loved them. No problems. They were the first things they went for when let out of the coop. Great shade provided. I guess I`ll have to rethink it.
