Oh, I envy you, I've never had a broody hatch any babies, because each time I had a broody (only twice) there was no rooster. Now I have FOUR roosters, and plenty of hens, but NO BROODY! LOL

Maybe one day.....Congrats to your success! Wonderful news and I would love to see some pics!

Looks like your egg layer hens have their own chicken math problems to deal with .... 1+1+1+1+1 etc. = too many chickens. LOL
